Event Details
So, you basically know how to book a gig. You’re doing the usual things to promote and build a fan base and increase your level of work, but you seem to be stuck. How do you move your career as a musician forward? How do you progress to that next level or even expand into new areas? When do you need a manager, lawyer, publicist, etc?
This program will explore the many paths available to musicians who wish to grow in their profession and/or consider the numerous options for broadening your career. The discussion will be driven by a panel of (local)industry experts, with plenty of time for questions and conversation with the audience.
Facilitator: Bruce Fife
Panelists: Alan Alexander, Bart Day, Lisa Lepine, Amy Maxwell

He is perhaps best known as the former lead singer, principle songwriter and producer for the critically acclaimed world beat band, Dub Squad. Alan has composed source music and original scores for several motion pictures including: 'Hear No Evil' (20th Century Fox), 'Alien Invaders' (National Endowment for the Arts) and, most recently (summer 2011), the feature length independent film Stuff by director Larry Johnson.
